Folks Keep Trying To Win Fortnite Without Weapons

The last man standing at the 100-person survival shooter wins it all. The majority of the time, this carries a combination of gun ability, fort-building finesse and tactics. It is not something plenty of people can brag about Fortnite traps, but the men and women who can brag about it wanted to make it a little harder for themselves. For months, players have been attempting to game the biggest game round with no-weapons challenges. Meaning winning Fortnite without a shotguns, no grenades, no sniper rifles, no nothing--only a pickax, that does minor damage, but is more of a tool than a weapon.

Fortnite YouTubers specifically are getting in on the no-weapons challenge with varying degrees of success. Back in January, YouTuber Ali-A decided he would attempt to win a game with only substances, buildables, shields, med children and bandages, he explained in his video is"arguably the hardest challenge from the sport." It's a pacifist run, essentially. His go at it was wild. As the map got smaller, his opponents all slowly and meticulously murdered each other, shooting him once they had the opportunity. He remained alive, however. With two players left, Ali-A barricaded himself in a brick fortress just a few meters beyond the playable area. As the competitor fired, he continually rebuilt his fort.

Lots of other YouTubers have tried their hand at winning without weapons. A month earlier Ali-A, YouTuber Lachlan's attempted a no-weapons run, which he calls the"pickaxe challenge," and also landed at #2. They spent a great deal of time hiding in bushes and, in the long run, resorted to grenades and bombs. The last competitor expired in a trap. It was not just a pure no-weapons run, but it sure made them sweat.

Fortnite YouTuber Muselk along with also his teammate hid a great deal and conducted from competitions inside their no-weapons challenge. Muselk had a really cool technique for hiding under temples he constructed instead of inside them as a sort of fake-out. In the end, the game came to Muselk versus three others. He remained in the working area while his competitors, somehow, did not. In the end, he tossed out a couple of grenades--which weapons, yeah, are all weapons.

And a pure no weapons run is so infrequent on its own (if you have done it, I need proof in the remarks ). The reality is that I can hardly win a game of Fortnite together with the match's best weapons. Watching someone employ so much match knowledge to outplay opponents without a true offensive power is honestly miraculous.
